It's been almost 2 weeks since we spread your ashes in Deception Pass and I think you would be happy about how beautiful it was outside that day. I know you were there with us and we could feel it. I miss you so much Lex and want so bad to be able to touch you and see you again. One day.....I love you and will never stop thinking about you.

Lex
I have so many unanswered questions and the pain of the loss of you has shaken me to the center of my being. The numbness has worn off and the feelings are raw and permanent. Never being able to see or talk to you again, never kissing and holding you again are now my reality. I wonder daily why....not a day goes by without tears and thoughts of you. I feel empty, the void is endless......

Hello Sweetie,
Although I've never met you I have heard nothing but wonderful stories of your life, your beginning now sadly your ending. You must know you were loved by so many including me. It's hard not to love the children of a man you once loved so dearly. Rest now our precious one as just like a Rose you will bud again and again.. Family look for her in the gardens, in the floral shop, in the open fields. you'll find her there. budding just when you need her most, she'll be there. I'm reminded of Micheal Jackson's song as I write this..
GONE TOO SOON! But like every Rose she will Bud again.
My Prayers are with each of you. Grayson, Catlin and Mckenzie Be stong but please do grieve it's ok and healing for the soul.. and Tommie, I'm always an email away. I'm here when you need someone to talk too. Do all your crying, screaming, and being angry, then when you're done go out and smell the flowers..
My love to the family.
Melbra

My heart goes out to you guys. I have a lot of fond memories of spending time at the Walker house, New Years eve, summers, and I remember always looking up to Alexis.
"Perhaps, they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy.-- Eskimo legend"
Remember she is always with you!
I send you guys my love and thoughts.

From one mother to another - I pray that you find peace in the coming months and years. She was clearly a beautiful presence in this life for many, many people. What a beautiful young woman. My deepest condolences.
