To Margaret's Family: Margaret and I were good friends in college and as time passed lost touch. I read about her passing in the alumni news and was deeply saddened. She was a wonderful person and I always thought of her as a friend thru my entire life. My thoughts and prayers are with you . Yours Truly Donna Whitesall

I was so sorry to hear about Margaret. I remember her fondly as a patient at WWMG Oncology clinic as I drew her blood. We spoke of Lakewood schools as I have two grandchildren there. She always brought an extra smile with herself no matter how ill she might have felt.

I was good friends with Carol in elementary school at Westgate Elementary in Edmonds, and my mother and I came across the notice in the Herald. We were so sorry to hear about Margaret, she was such a wonderful, positive person. We remember her being beautiful and fun, caring and kind. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

John, Carol, David, and Sarah,
Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Margaret was very special to me. She was always so kind and caring to everyone. She took the time to visit with my dad, who suffered from dementia, when he came to our workplace, and later told me that she really liked my dad. That was wonderful--she could see the man he used to be.
She loved her family most of all, but she touched so many hearts at Lakewood through the years. She was my long term sub years ago when I was ill, and took great care of my first graders. I miss her smile, her gentle ways, her firm convictions, and her friendship. I treasure our last conversation in September, when she expressed that she was so happy and cocconing with her family.
All our love,
Molly and Paul Pearson and family.

David and Carol,
I am sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. There were many days that I had business in her building and I would see her walking her students to the bus area. She would always smile and we would have a moment to exchange a few words. I could see how much she enjoyed her students and being a teacher. I know many of her former students will feel a sense of loss at her passing.

You will be in the thoughts of many in the Lakewood community.
