Honor Your Loved One With Bagpipe Music
Bagpipe music just belongs. People of all denominations, spiritual beliefs, and ethnic backgrounds appreciate its presence at their funeral or memorial.
Our favorite bagpiper is Neil Hubbard. He has an intuitive sensitivity and compassionate approach that provides much comfort at this difficult time. Given the unexpected nature of a funeral, Neil is available on short notice. If he is not available to play at your event, he will recommend another quality piper from his network of trusted colleagues.
The most requested bagpiped tune is “Amazing Grace,” which is best used, he says, as a stand-alone piece. Other options include reverent music played during a prelude (or processional), or recessional. Graveside services are greatly enhanced by the sound of a lone piper; the space outdoors allows Neil to stand at a respectful distance.
He has extensive experience playing for all types of funerals and memorial services. This includes military honors for all branches of the armed forces, as well as fire and police department honor guards. As lead piping instructor for the Northwest Firefighters Pipe Band Association, Neil has played his bagpipe at large law enforcement memorials attended by as many as 20,000 people.
