Ann Sophia Rudd

July 31, 1941 - December 26, 2017

Ann Rudd, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister passed 12/26/2017.  Ann was born in Everett 7/31/1941 to Elwood and Jenne Bingham. Her father died when she was a baby.  Ann was raised by her mom and stepfather, Coburn Lenfest, who was her Daddy.

Ann graduated from Snohomish HS in 1959 and continued her education at Everett General Hospital School of Nursing earning her RN. She worked as a nurse and eventually obtained a nursing home administration certification.  During her 40 year career, she was devoted to caring for her elderly patients.

Ann married her love, Payton Hosmer Rudd, in 1962 and together they had three children:  John Payton, Richard Forrest, and Jenne Eva. Payton passed away in 1981 and Ann held him in her heart for the rest of her days. Ann raised her children fulfilling both roles as mother and father for the rest of her days. Her children love her for all she has done for them.

Ann is missed and loved by her children and her grandsons Josh and Caleb Rudd; her nieces and nephews:  Carrie Bingham, Ursula Aller Berliner, Scott Bingham, and Jayson Rudd. Her sister-in-law Pat Rudd; her brother in law Jim Rudd and wife Cara; her sister Marilyn Aller and husband Butch. She was predeceased by her brother Glen Bingham. Ann was a kind soul who delighted in life’s simple pleasures.
