Daniel was born in Portland, Oregon to Florence (Anderson) and George G. Locke in 1916. He grew up in Everett, attended Everett High School, and Edison Vocational School. He worked as a Lab Technician until retiring in 1980. His interests included sailing, making model airplanes, square dancing, fitness, and organ music. He loved to go out for dinner, play slots at the casino, and could tell jokes all day. He chopped wood for his fireplaces, mowed his yard and played basketball into his 90's. He was an avid Seahawks and Huskies Football Teams supporter. The Family wishes to express our appreciation to the staff of Sunrise Nursing Home and to his Lake Stevens neighbors.

At his request no formal funeral services will be held.
