Lynda Faith Hannan

February 23, 1944 - October 14, 2013

Our amazing mom

Lynda Faith Hannan (Kopp), left to be with the Lord on October 14, 2013.

Even after the cancer had weakened her to the point where she had to go on Hospice care , she stayed positive and continued to tell us, “Everything is going to be okay”. She didn’t tell us this because she truly believed she would get better, but because she didn’t want to worry the many family and friends she left behind.

She had such a positive influence and took care of many people during her 69 years on this earth. Out of the kindness of her heart she would take care of people she didn’t even know such as one of her neighbors down in Florida who was ill and did not have any family members around.

It saddens our hearts that we no longer have her beautiful smile and positive spirit with us, but she is now in a much greater place than here. We thank God for giving us such a wonderful person in our lives.

We love you mom! Dana, Shannon and Lisa, Tracy and Leah, Jason, Racquel and Mychel.

FUNERAL INFORMATION

We will have a life celebration for mom in April 2014. Please check back for date and time.

Love is life

Love is life. All, everything that I understand, I understand only because I love. Everything is, everything exists, only because I love. Everything is united by it alone. Love is God, and to die means that I, a particle of love, shall return to the general and eternal source.

Leo Tolstoy

A Good Life

When we are gone, and people weep
for us and grieve, let it be because we
touched their lives with beauty and simplicity.
Let it not be said that life was good to us,
but, rather, we were good to life.
