Charles Wilmott

November 8, 1951 - May 29, 2022

Charles Wilmott passed away on May 29th, 2022 at the age of 70 after a long and well fought battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Sandy Wilmott as well as his two children Chris Wilmott and Chelsea Draper and his two grandchildren Maya and Henry Draper.

Charles was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota on November 8,1951 to Dan and Helen Wilmott. He moved with his family to Ballard, Washington at a young age. He attended Ballard High School, worked as a Marine Refrigeration Mechanic and passionately spent his life working with the local fishing community of Seattle and Alaska.

Charles was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. The life of the party and best known as “Chuck Luck of the West”, he gave the best and possibly the most dangerous firework display in the Pacific Northwest. On the fourth of July he loved to visit Boom City and wow the family with his firework display. He also loved to spend time with his wife visiting local wineries and concerts.

He was kind and always willing to help. Quick to pick up his tools and assist with a project or help anyone in need. He will be deeply missed.


FUNERAL INFORMATION

A celebration of life will be held on August 7th, 2022 at the Edmonds Waterfront Center at 1 - 4 pm.

DONATIONS

In lieu of flowers, his wish would be to donate to the American Red Cross in his honor.
