Michael Taylor

January 19,1957 - September 28, 2020

Michael “Mike” Taylor died suddenly on Monday, September 28, 2020 in Woodinville, Washington. He was 63 years young.

 Mike was a “lifer” at Washington Correctional Complex in Monroe, Washington. He had been a Corrections Officer for 37 years.

 Mike grew up in Bothell, graduated from Inglemoor High School in 1975, and attended Northwest Bible College in Kirkland where he met Regina Stroud and ended his bachelor days. They were married in May of 1978.  Mike was a dependable worker, and loved his family.

 Mike loved fireworks and was a licensed pyrotechnician for 39 years. He, and his team, shot many professional firework displays in those years. He always had a smile and a laugh to share, he had a great sense of humor and a kind, compassionate spirit. He enjoyed volunteering at his church, Mountainview Christian Fellowship in Sultan, whenever they needed his help. He volunteered for many years at the Sultan Senior Center in Sultan at their monthly Pancake Breakfast, cooking the pancakes. He also enjoyed volunteering at the Monroe Rock Church’s Provide Hope food program on Fridays.

Mike is survived by his wife Regina and their 8 children:

FUNERAL INFORMATION

There will be a Celebration of his life Open House on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 1-3pm at Mountainview Christian Fellowship, 320 6th St. Sultan, 98294. 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a family only service at 3pm that will be live-streamed at: bit.ly/michael_taylor
