Jack B. Sherwood

August 23, 1927 - February 01, 2009

He influenced many young lives coaching & teaching

Jack Butler Sherwood, age 81, born August 23, 1927 in Seattle, Washington.

Survived by love of his life and best friend, Kathleen Sherwood, of 35 years. He is survived by: son, Terry R. (Joni) Sherwood, grandchildren, Ashley and Cody; daughter, Susan C. Sherwood; son, Jack B. (Angelica) Sherwood, Jr., grandchildren, Ryan, Yanina, and Brianna; son, Kris B. (Dorla) Sherwood, grandchildren, Kristopher (Kristen), Kurtis, great granddaughter, Gillian; and son, Sean (Beth) Kerrick, grand- children, Andrew and Bryan.

Jack served his country in the U.S. Navy. He attended the University of Washington playing basketball, where he received a Masters Degree in mathematics. Jack taught in the Shoreline School District for 37 years. Jack influenced many young lives coaching basketball, soccer and tennis.

FUNERAL INFORMATION

A celebration of life will be held Saturday February 7th, at 11:00 a.m. at University Lutheran Church, 1604 NE 50th Street, Seattle, WA. See the link below for directions to the church.
