Beverlee Bowman Price passed peacefully from this life into the next from complications of surgery.  She lived a full and wonderful life.  She loved to travel the world and made friends everywhere she went.  She travelled to Hawaii frequently and made trips to England, France, Belgium, and Ireland.  She traveled to Hawaii in June of 2016 to see her grandson, Dane, get married on the beach.

Beverlee was born in Gig Harbor, Washington on April 20, 1937 to Clayton P. and Marie K. Bowman and grew up in Manchester, Washington.  She graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1955 and obtained her Associates in Arts at Olympic College and her Bachelor of Arts at Evergreen College.  She married Jerry Phipps in 1956 and had her daughters, Terre and Tami.  She later married her second husband, Charlie Price in 1980.

Beverlee is survived by her husband, Charles A. Price, III, her daughters, Terre (Jan) Skelly of Bremerton and Tami Freeman of Chimacum, step-daughter, Cindy (Abbas) Aalami of Mukilteo; her grandchildren, Justin C. Serry of Bremerton, Dane P. (Stephanee) Allen of Marysville, Soraya and Soheil Aalami, both of Mukilteo; her brother-in-law, LC Stidham, of Arlington; her beloved cat, Myla; and many dear friends all over the world.  She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Randy Bowman.

Beverlee’s passion was photography, writing and books.  She wrote articles for magazines and newspapers for many years, which included her own photos.  She also worked in television.  She turned her passion for writing to a passion for writing poetry.  We plan to publish her poems posthumously.

Beverlee will be remembered as an elegant and engaging person, for her photography and poems and her love of travel and meeting new people.  She is now swimming in Hawaii with the dolphins.  At her request, we are going to spread her ashes in Hawaii, the San Juan Islands and Iceland.  She is greatly missed.

Arrangements are entrusted to A Sacred Moment Funeral Home in Everett, Washington.
