Geraldine May Strain
March 4, 1926 - November 16, 2017
“Miss Geri”, as she was often called, passed away peacefully at her home in Snohomish on November 16th at the age of 91. Mother to Joseph Strain of Snohomish and Karen Fletcher of VA. She also had a loving relationship with Catherine Strain, her daughter-in-law and devoted caregiver. Geri was born in Rutland, Vermont in March of 1926 and married Joseph F. Strain in 1947. They remained happily married for 58 years before her husband’s passing in 2005. His career afforded them the opportunity to enjoy life in several areas of the country including Middlebury Vermont, Cape Cod, Illinois, Mississippi, Michigan, Florida, and Washington State.
FUNERAL INFORMATION
A memorial service is scheduled at the Snohomish Senior Center, 506 Fourth Street, Snohomish at 1:00 PM on Saturday January 13th. 2018.
