Obituaries

Kaitlyn Dianne Pierce Dietzel

April 8, 1992 - December 9, 2017

It is with great sadness that Kaity's family share the news of her passing on December 9, 2017 after a tragic car accident. Kaity was born on April 8th, 1992 in Lincoln, NE.

Kaity was kind, loving, free-spirited and full of energy. She loved her family, her children and animals, especially horses. She was a gifted artist and loved drawing animals she saw in nature and fantastical creatures from her imagination. She also enjoyed making clay figurines and cards.

Kaity graduated from high school in Stanwood, WA in 2011. Her talent in gymnastics and love for horses helped her to excel in vaulting (gymnastics on horseback). She and her vaulting team won first place at Nationals and second place in doubles. She had a passion for learning; whether it was animals, essential oils, herbs and more, she put her whole heart into it.

She was married on June 24th, 2012 to Michael Dietzel. On August 24th 2014, Athena, Britta, and Cadence entered the world. Kaity was a dedicated mommy spending her time in the hospital caring for their girls during their first 2 months. The nurses and doctors were amazed at how capable she was for being a young, first-time mother. For Kaity, being a mother was a full-time job but she continued to enjoy horses, drawing and painting. Kaity did extremely well in creating a healthy, natural diet and lifestyle for their girls.

She is survived by her husband, Michael and her triplets, Athena, Britta & Cadence (age 3). She is also survived by her parents, Dave and Mary Pierce of Stanwood; brothers and sisters, Kyla Pierce, Morgan (Jay) Juniper & Tuck Deaton, Melanie Pierce, Jason Pierce, Nate Pierce, Gary (Trish) Rhea and a large extended family.
