At A Sacred Moment we want to encourage families to literally "think outside the box" when it comes to considering the purchase of a casket and/or urn. You may choose to build your own casket, purchase a casket yourself, if you are comfortable doing so, or ask A Sacred Moment to handle that detail for you. As is our philosophy with all other aspects of the services we offer, A Sacred Moment wants to empower families to make that choice.
You can purchase your own urn or ask A Sacred Moment to handle it for you. An urn may be purchased, or a special container that your loved one cherished during their lifetime and was particularly meaningful to them, may be completely suitable as an urn.
Some thoughts to consider when making decisions about caskets and urns may include:
- Will your loved one be buried or cremated?
- If cremation, will you keep your loved one’s cremated remains in the home?
- Do you plan to have a Life Celebration service of any kind?
- If so, what type of Life Celebration service will you have?
